City winds blow,
Friends and family gasp below,
But you can’t jump.
After all,
You’re only human.

A sharp knife,
Pointed at your wife,
But you can’t pull the trigger.

A shotgun,
Wielded by your son,
But you can’t face him.
Instead you run.
